Poems

So i had to write two Haiku poems for class and who ever had the best poems won a prize. (chocolate bar!) And i am really salty be we got them back today and I didn't win :( sooo here are the "shoulda been" first place poems.

The game

The whistle blows loud.
Silence breaks on the soft pitch,
With pounding of feet.

Nature

Rippling waters,
Willows swaying in the breeze,
Silence all throughout.

    I got one :) He even saved it since I was sick and gave it to me today!

    Chilling wind passes.
    A winter storm pushes through
    Vibrating windows

    Bare trees line the street,
    Leaves lay forgotten below.
    Death becomes new life.

    I thought mine were rather lame since we weren't allowed to use emotion in writing them, but I can't complain about chocholate! Wish I were in your class though, mine is chalk full of freshmen!
