Olympics

So the Winter Olympics have been going on for over a week and will be coming to an end soon. I am just curious to see if anyone has been following the events......? I have been trying to keep up with most of them. I am interested in Curling, Snow boarding, Hockey, Figure skating, and speed skating. The US women's hockey teams verses Canada on Thursday! GO USA....

Monday Night!

Sooo its Monday night and does anyone know what that means? BIG EYED FISH!!! They have wings for 35 cents! They are the best/most awesome wings I have ever tasted! I get 4 medium wings and 4 BBQ. I haven't been there in a long time, but tonights the night. PS michelle is going with me(so thats awesome) and i wish that my roommate julie could go but she has class :(

Poems

So i had to write two Haiku poems for class and who ever had the best poems won a prize. (chocolate bar!) And i am really salty be we got them back today and I didn't win :( sooo here are the "shoulda been" first place poems.

The game

The whistle blows loud.

Silence breaks on the soft pitch,

With pounding of feet.

Nature

Rippling waters,

Willows swaying in the breeze,

Silence all throughout.

Getting in the Grove

It is now the 4th week of school and I still cant "get in the groove". I thought not having class on Mondays and Fridays would be awesome, but its not all that it is cracked up to be. I have a four day weekend and so when it comes to Tuesday and I have 3 classes I am overwhelmed. I think next semester I am going to have to make some changes.
